This information applies to the prototype in development. Final features, advertising and pricing will be explained before release.
1. Who we are
DOTNULL Co.,Ltd operates Phone Break and this website. Contact: phonebreak@dotnull.co.jp.
2. Information on your device
Monitoring settings and the usage state needed to time reminders are processed locally. iPhone also stores Screen Time tokens for selected items. Android keeps current usage time in service memory and does not restore it after the process ends. The app does not read screen content, typed text or messages. Usage records and selection tokens are not sent to our servers, ad requests or GitHub. There is no account system, our own analytics or cloud sync.
3. Test ads in development builds
Development builds use Google Mobile Ads SDK to display official test banners. Ad requests connect to Google, which may process IP addresses, device or app identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics. Not all data stays on the device. Android advertising ID permission is currently excluded and iOS does not request ATT permission. Release ad serving is disabled. Before introducing live ads, we will provide the required disclosures and consent controls. See Google’s policies below for its processing, including processing abroad.
4. Website and email
We do not add analytics or advertising trackers to this page. Hosting provider GitHub processes access information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and message to respond and investigate issues. We do not automatically attach personal usage records to emails.
5. Retention, deletion and your rights
Local settings can be removed by deleting the app. Manage OS backups and Screen Time sharing through OS settings. We retain support messages only as needed to handle them or meet legal obligations, restrict access and delete information when no longer needed. Contact us about access, correction or deletion requests. We cannot view or remotely delete usage records that never leave your device.
6. Changes
We update this page and its date when practices change. We will provide separate notice or seek consent where required for new purposes or advertising.
