This information applies to the prototype in development. Final features, advertising and pricing will be explained before release.
1. Purpose
Phone Break by DOTNULL Co.,Ltd provides reminders to notice extended use and take breaks. It is not for diagnosing or treating addiction or delivering emergency alerts, and does not guarantee reduced phone use.
2. Use and permissions
Use it on a device you control and review the required OS permissions. You can stop monitoring and revoke permissions at any time. Unlawful use, infringement of others’ rights and interference with the service are prohibited. This does not restrict activities protected by law.
3. Measurement and delivery
Continuous use on iPhone is estimated. Delayed records, power settings, permission changes, OS updates and force-stopping may delay or stop monitoring and notifications. Do not rely on these reminders alone for safety or health decisions.
4. Charges and rights
The current prototype has no purchases or subscriptions. You are responsible for network charges. Any future paid features will have their terms disclosed in advance. App and website rights belong to us or their respective owners. Use is permitted as needed to use the service; redistribution or sale requires the rights holder’s permission.
5. Changes, responsibility and law
We will announce material changes to features or service terms in the app or on this site. Our responsibility is governed by applicable law; these terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights. Japanese law applies subject to mandatory protections in your country of residence. Material changes to these terms will be announced with an effective date, and consent obtained where required.
